City commission to examine UDO updates Sept 8th, 2019

Manhattan city commissioners on Tuesday will look at updates to city zoning and other regulations in the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO).

ome of the changes involve replacing old zones with new zoning districts including low-density residential, medium-density residential and urban core residential, among others.

Officials said the goal is to simply the regulations within each zone.

The updates also allow the establishment of tiny homes in various districts.
